The Canadian Zionist Federation, Eastern Region held the 11th Annual Commemoration Ceremony in memory of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin Z"L in conjunction with the Consulate General of Israel in Montreal. The community-wide event was held at the Gelber Conference Centre in Montreal.

The entire community participated in the 10th Annual Commemoration Ceremony in memory of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin Z�L on Monday.


Canadian Zionist Federation, Eastern Region Salute to Israel Gala Concert spectators

This special community-wide event, held at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Place des Arts, Montreal�s famous venue which holds 3,000, featured the diva of Israeli music, RITA, in a stage show the likes of which have rarely been seen outside of Israel! The show was a musical celebration which highlighted the unique melodramatic power of this impressive singer.


Canadian Zionist Federation � Eastern Region Celebrates ISRAEL DAY 2005

The event, a full day affair, started at 10:00 a.m. and finished at 4:30 p.m. The theme of the event was "One People - One Heart" This very special community-wide program attracted upwards of 10,000 people. The mall was festively decorated with Israeli flags and blue and white balloons throughout its length.


THE RABIN MEMORIAL 2004

Eastern Region of the Canadian Zionist Federation is scheduled to hold the Rabin Memorial on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. The Memorial is a community-wide program and will be held at the Oscar Peterson Hall, a concert hall affiliated with Concordia University.

Beginning September 20, 2004 another year of Hebrew classes resumes in Toronto.
