The Herzl Center: Experiential Museum and Interactive Institute for Zionist Education
The Herzl Center is dedicated to revealing Theodor Herzl not only as a towering historical figure, but also as a relevant and gripping personality whose ideas and ideals continue to be compelling in our own day. The Herzl Center is further committed to presenting Zionism as a persuasive and inspiring ideology, as indispensable to the Jewish future now as it was when Herzl founded the Zionist movement more than a century ago. The Herzl Center is operated by the Department for Zionist Activities of the World Zionist Organization, which was founded by Theodor Binyamin Ze'ev Herzl at the first Zionist Congress in Basle in 1897.
The Herzl Center is open Sunday – Thursday 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (last entrance at 15:15) and Friday 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (last entrance at 12:15 p.m.). Guaranteed entrance by reservation only, drop-ins will be accommodated only if space is available. To arrange a visit for you or your group, contact:
