The South African Zionist Federation Zionist Quiz -2005

The Quiz organised by the South African Zionist Federation and the Israel Centre, supported by the IUA/UCF was an unprecedented success. 35 participants from 8 Schools participated in the first 2 rounds, and the top 15 were selected to go through to the finals.

Visita de Perla Fuchs

En el marco de Shutfut Alpaim (Sociedad 2000) la Organización Sionista del Uruguay recibió la visita de Perla Fuchs y su hija Ronit. La Sra. Perla Fuchs vive en Mitzpé Ramón, ciudad hermana de la colectividad judía de Montevideo, donde es maestra de primaria en su escuela modelo. En su visita a nuestro país el martes 2 de agosto pasado recorrió las tres escuelas de la red escolar judía acompañada por la responsable local de los proyectos de educación formal de la Sojnut, Sra. Fanny Lichstenstein. Visitó el gan ieladim de los colegios y participó en las clases de 5to. y 6to. de primaria, con cuyos alumnos se lanzó un proyecto de intercambio de cartas y e-mails entre los alumnos de la escuela de Mitzpé Ramón y de las escuelas judías del Uruguay. Asimismo fue recibida por las autoridades docentes de cada instituto con quienes evaluó nuevos proyectos de intercambio entre Mitzpé Ramón y Montevideo.

Despedida de OSU al Embajador de Israel Sr. Joel Salpak

El martes 19 de julio de 2005 la Organización Sionista del Uruguay tuvo una reunión especial de su Consejo Directivo para despedir al Embajador de Israel Sr. Joel Salpak que próximamente finaliza su misión diplomática en el Uruguay. La colectividad judía del Uruguay despedirá al Embajador Salpak y señora Elena Saidman con un gran acto público el 17 de agosto próximo, en una actividad que está preparando la Organización Sionista del Uruguay en conjunto con los principales factores comunitarios.

IOM HAZICARON 5765 - 2005 EN URUGUAY

El martes 10 de mayo de 2005 tuvo lugar el acto central de Iom Hazicarón organizado por la Organización Sionista del Uruguay y la Federación Juvenil Sionista. Tomaron parte en el mismo alumnos de las tres escuelas judías integrales y los rabinos de las diferentes comunidades recitaron plegarias alusivas. Se escuchó también la palabra del Dr. Gerardo Stuczynski, Presidente de la Organización Sionista del Uruguay; de Gabriel Mizraji, Presidente de la Federación Juvenil Sionista y del Embajador de Israel en el Uruguay Sr. Joel Salpak.

Actividades sobre Antisemitismo en Uruguay

El domingo 10 de abril de 2005 se realizaron dos actividades referidas al antisemitismo que tuvieron lugar simultáneamente durante toda la jornada. La primera fue preparada para el grupo de hasbará de la Organización Sionista del Uruguay; se realizó en el Pocitos Plaza Hotel y contó con un selecto grupo de participantes y de oradores. La segunda actividad estaba dirigida a los bogrim de las tnuot integrantes de la Federación Juvenil Sionista, estuvo dedicada especialmente a la Shoah, se realizó en el salón comedor del Instituto Yavne y contó con el apoyo de la Organización Sionista del Uruguay.

57º IOM HAATZMAUT EN URUGUAY

El jueves 12 de mayo de 2005 la colectividad judía del Uruguay celebró Iom Haatzmaut en un estadio atestado en el que el público disfrutó las danzas de la Leakat Naguia de la Comunidad Israelita del Uruguay, la actuación de acróbatas, músicas y muy especialmente, de una Leakah Tzvait llegada especialmente de Israel. Se escucharon los mensajes de los presidentes de las instituciones organizadoras, Dr. Gerardo Stuczynski, Organización Sionista del Uruguay y Gabriel Mizraji, Federación Juvenil Sionista, así como de Arie Abir, Representante de la Agencia Judía para Amlat, Mijael Edery, Vicepresidente del KKL mundial y Joel Salpak, Embajador de Israel en el Uruguay.
